Playco is the world’s first instant gaming company, focused on building games that people can play together without any additional app downloads. Below you can find a wide variety of titles I had the pleasure of working on and some of the creative assets I've created along the way.
Design Highlights
At Playco, I had the opportunity to shape and contribute to multiple titles, owning work from initial concept through final implementation. The fast-moving, agile nature of the studio allowed me to work across a broad range of UI challenges, from game interfaces and event systems to branding and marketing assets. The projects below highlight some of my favorite work and reflect the versatility and collaborative spirit that defined my time there.
Card Collections
Below you can view some of the cards I designed and illustrated for one of our most popular titles: Thug Life. These cards were part of a feature in which players could unlock and collect card sets with varying rarities.
Social creatives
I was asked by the recruiting team to design creatives for a series of LinkedIn posts.
Zoom Games
I had the opportunity to design some game mocks for a Zoom pitch that our studio would produce. Below are the 3 games that I worked on for the pitch. I concepted and designed all of the UI, branding and artwork. I had a 1-week deadline to work on this project and it felt much like a game jam/sprint. Although Zoom only decided to go with one game out of the 10 on the list, I had an amazing and exciting time working on this project.
Game Exploration - Cooks & Cards
Below is a four-day project sprint in which I was the sole designer. I had the pleasure of designing all of the UI and developing a working proof of concept. All of the UI was designed in Figma while some illustrative assets were created in Adobe Photoshop. I also worked with some amazing illustrators to bring the characters and cards to life. Although I ran out of time to complete the prototype, you can click the button below to give it a try!
